How it works
Clear reasoning, honest sources, defined risk.
Investors AI analyses market information and the charts you upload, then explains its thinking with a confidence level and a defined risk on every call. Here's exactly what it does, how it personalises to you, where its data comes from, and — just as important — what it does not do.
AI-generated analysis, not financial advice. Investors AI is not a broker and does not execute trades.
What Investors AI analyses
Investors AI uses artificial intelligence to analyse market information and the charts you upload. When you share a chart screenshot, it reads the trend, structure and key levels and returns a structured view: a buy / sell / wait read with the reasoning behind it, and — where a setup is present — an entry, a stop, targets and the levels that would invalidate the idea.
Alongside your charts, it draws on market context: live or recent prices for the assets you follow, a daily market briefing, and news headlines where available. Every call is presented with a confidence level and a defined risk, never as a certainty.
How personalisation works
Your answers during onboarding — your markets, experience, risk tolerance, time horizon and goals — shape what you see. They guide which assets are surfaced, how the daily briefing is framed, and the context the AI Coach starts with, so responses fit how you actually invest instead of being generic.
Your saved activity (your watchlist, logged trades and past analyses) adds further context over time. You control this data, and you can review the privacy details in our Privacy Policy.
How sources and timestamps work
We show where time-sensitive information comes from and how fresh it is. Wherever market data appears, look for a small source line such as “Source: Yahoo Finance · Updated 14:31 UTC.” Timestamps reflect the real time the data was fetched or generated — we never invent them.
We clearly distinguish between:
- Live — a current quote from a market-data provider.
- Delayed — real data that may lag by around 15 minutes for some equities.
- Cached — a recent result reused briefly to stay fast; labelled when it isn't fresh.
- Sample — placeholder data shown only when a live source is unavailable, always labelled as such.
- AI interpretation — the model's reasoning, which is analysis rather than a data feed.
If we can't confirm a source, we say so plainly rather than implying one was used.
How to interpret confidence
Confidence is a probabilistic read of how clean a setup or market view looks to the model — not a promise of the outcome. A higher confidence means the signals lined up more clearly; it does not mean the trade will work. Markets are uncertain, and even high-confidence reads are wrong sometimes.
Treat confidence as one input into your own decision, alongside your risk management and position sizing — never as a guarantee or a reason to skip your own judgement.
What Investors AI does not do
- It does not guarantee profits, and its responses can be wrong.
- It is not a broker and does not execute trades or move your money.
- It does not provide personalised financial advice and does not replace a licensed adviser.
- It does not replace your own independent judgement and research.
Everything Investors AI produces is AI-generated analysis for your consideration — it is not financial advice. See our full Investment Disclaimer.
Responsible use
Investors AI is built to help you think more clearly and act with defined risk — not to make decisions for you. Use it as a second opinion: read the reasoning, check the source and timestamp, and only act on setups you understand and can manage.
Never risk more than you can afford to lose, size positions to your own risk tolerance, and do your own research before committing capital. If you're unsure, seek advice from a qualified professional.
